Creative Director, Art Director & Photographer

About

“My very own David Bailey!”
~ my mum

Hello!

My name is Christopher Bradford, but I go by Bradford. My wife calls me Babe, my mum calls me Christopher, and too many people call me Brad — which is the best way to wind me up and the worst way to win my heart. I’m sure it goes without saying that I prefer Bradford.

I’ve worked as a senior art director at agencies like 72andSunny, W+K, DDB, and iris Worldwide, for clients such as eBay, Google, Montblanc, Volkswagen, and Hyundai. I’ve stepped in as Creative Director at the iconic Dutch stroller brand Bugaboo and, most recently, at Scholz & Friends, where I led creative across the PayPal account.

I’m also a fashion photographer — because every good creative needs a side hustle, right? You can see more of that here: Photography

I’m skilled at finding the right creatives for the brief at hand and then bringing out their best. (That’s why my talented, beautiful, and hilarious copywriter wife is penning this for me.)

I can also deliver clear feedback and recognise when less is more. (Seriously. You should’ve seen how many adjectives she used to describe herself in the first version!)

I believe that being a good senior creative boils down to how many fucks you give. In my case, it’s three: I’m fucking fearless, fucking fair, and fucking fun.

When I’m not at my desk, I can be found watching Tottenham lose, correcting the shit ton of people hell-bent on calling me Brad, and managing my own diverse team of two elderly Canadian cats, a rambunctious boxer pup, and a feisty eight-year-old girl.

After nearly a decade in Amsterdam, I came back to the UK — mainly for family, but also because I missed strong tea, proper crisps, and football that didn’t buffer. Since returning, I’ve led creative direction for Le Chameau, Bugaboo, and PayPal, guiding brand, content, and social storytelling across Europe and beyond.

Now, I’m looking for my next creative chapter — whether that’s a permanent role leading brand transformation or a freelance adventure that needs a steady hand, a few bold ideas, and someone who still believes great work should make people feel something.

If you’re building something brilliant — and want someone who’s fearless, fair, and fun (and occasionally funny) — let’s chat.

(But seriously, don’t call me Brad.)

Cheers,
Bradford (not Brad)
