Heinz Tomato Sauce
Heinz Ketchup & Soup Promotional BTL
At Dynamo in London, I worked on a rare brief: refresh an icon without losing what makes it beloved. Heinz Tomato Ketchup is a mainstay of British cafés and kitchens, and our job was to revitalise the bottle and its on-shelf presence while staying true to the brand’s familiar warmth and equity. I helped design a limited-edition container and packaging that felt instantly recognisable yet newly collectible—tightening the silhouette, refining label details, and elevating finishes so the bottle looked as good on a café counter as it did at home. We extended the refresh into retail with in-store displays and marketing materials that balanced heritage cues with a brighter, more contemporary energy, making the brand feel both classic and current.
Within the same programme, we partnered with Disney to amplify the launch of Pirates of the Caribbean. Heinz ran a national promotion offering a trip to the Caribbean, and we created campaign assets across the ketchup and beans ranges—from on-pack treatments and POS to simple, high-impact shelf communication. The work injected play into a trusted staple, using characterful graphic moments that were unmistakably Heinz while nodding to the film’s adventurous spirit. The result was a cohesive brand experience: a refreshed bottle people wanted to pick up, packaging that rewarded a second look, and a promotion that turned everyday purchases into a little moment of escapism.
